As tribute to the Chinese culture and the next year of Dragon, Piaget is proud to announce the release of the new Dragon & Phoenix collection.
This new watch collection by Piaget includes more than 20 watches, which interpret the symbols of the Dragon and the Phoenix – two of the most important imperial symbols in the Chinese culture. While the Dragon signifies masculinity, wisdom and the power to reach spiritual harmony, the Phoenix means femininity, beauty, compassion, prudence and charm.
One of the stars of this collection, the new Piaget Emperador XL watch comes in an 18K pink gold case with the back side made of sapphire crystal with a gilded applied dragon ideogram.

Protected by sapphire crystal, the dial shows a wonderful hand-engraved dragon design highlighted by 257 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.3 carats. The flying tourbillion is placed at 12 o`clock.
This Piaget watch is powered by the brand’s proprietary hand-wound 600P movement which ensures 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 40 hours. The mechanism also includes hand-circular-grained main plate and bridges, hand-bevelled and hand-drawn bridges and carriage, and blued screws
The amazing Piaget Emperador XL watch is completed with a grey alligator leather strap with an 18 K pink gold clasp. There will be only 8 fortunate owners, as the model is limited to only 8 pieces.
Another outstanding piece of the collection is also the new Piaget Altiplano Double Jeu 43 mm watch. Featuring two cases, this model also comes in a limited edition of 8 timepieces. The lower case is crafted from 18K white gold and paved with 381 brilliant-cut diamonds and 60 baguette-cut diamond, totaling 7.7 carats. Rendering the image of a phoenix, the 18 K white gold upper case incorporates 366 brilliant-cut diamonds with a total of 0.7 carats. There is also a Chinese phoenix ideogram engraved on the back case.
The heart of this watch is the ultra-thin mechanical hand-wound Piaget 830P movement which makes possible 21,600 vibrations per hour and 60-hour power reserve. The caliber includes bevelled bridges, engraved coat-of-arms, blued screws and circular-grained main plate.
The new Piaget Altiplano Double Jeu 43 mm watch is secured with a white alligator leather strap with an 18K white gold folding clasp with 26 brilliant-cut diamonds.
Not to forget about the new Piaget Limelight Twice watch, also featuring two sides. The first side case is crafted of 18K white gold and shows a sunburst motif made of 226 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 4.6 carats. The silvered dial is embellished with a Phoenix ideogram, while the 18K white gold clasp with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds compliments the refined look of this timepiece.
The 18K white gold second side is adorned with 52 brilliant-cut diamonds. The dial presents a silvered Phoenix design and the clasp is made of 18K polished white gold.
The mechanisms which empower this model are two Piaget 56P quartz movements. In addition,Louis Vuitton, the new Piaget comes with reversible white or black satin straps.
